2019 ist lange her - der EU #Cybersecurity Act (#CSA) soll nun aktualisiert werden und es wurde eine öffentliche Konsultation gestartet.

In erster Linie enthält der CSA Befugnisregelungen für die #ENISA und legt die rechtliche Grundlage zur Einführung der EU Cybersecurity Certification Schemes als einheitliche EU-weite Zertifizierungsmuster für produktübergreifende Schlüsseltechnologien.

Die öffentliche Konsultation läuft bis zum 20.06.2025: digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/

Have you been to e.g. enisa.europe.eu itself recently?
They've literally a capture of "13 +3" on the "recruitment inquiry" form but some AI-proof one on the "media inquiry" one.

Der neue #ENISA-#Lagebericht zur #Weltraum #Cybersecurity ist da: Auf 122 Seiten werden vor allem die Herausforderungen in der #Cybersicherheit für Satelliten thematisiert: Die Abhängigkeit von weltweiten Lieferketten, der Umgang mit Legacy Systemen, Datenverschlüsselung und sichere Kommunikation sowie APT-Angriffe auf die Kommunikationsinfrastruktur. While working on my own local LLM wild claims debunking machine running on an old CPU, I took the risk to let it search the Internet. After a while; it started looking for a "quantum processing MiniPC solution in 2025" because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

NB : seemingly there is a new hacker group heavily using LLM bots at mo, well done (not) to Meta and the rest !

Mehr #Vereinheitlichung in der Umsetzung von #NIS2: In vielen Gesprächen wird immer wieder laut, dass die unterschiedliche nationalstaatliche Umsetzung von NIS2 zu Reibungsverlusten und Mehraufwänden bei den betroffenen Unternehmen führt. Dem will jetzt die #EU entgegentreten. In einem ersten Schritt hat die #ENISA gestern nun einen lesenswerten grenzüberschreitenden Bericht zu den #Reifegraden und der #Kritikalität relevanter NIS2-Sektoren veröffentlicht:

Publications Office of the EUCybersecurity education maturity assessment - Publications Office of the EUAs a continuation of the ENISA report Cybersecurity Education Initiatives in the EU Member States, ENISA aims to understand the maturity of cybersecurity in primary and secondary education in each MS to further allow the creation of specific material to support cybersecurity education according to the different maturity levels identified. This project will then lead to the outlining of concrete activities over multiple years, such as the development of educational tool kits, guidelines, standards and stakeholder partnerships. In light of this ultimate goal, ENISA will develop this report on maturity assessment for cybersecurity education. The objectives of this project are to: select the maturity model suitable for assessing maturity of cybersecurity education in each MS and support the maturity assessment; define relevant maturity levels and assess maturity of cybersecurity educational activities per MS; draw recommendations on national initiatives and good practices per dimension of the maturity assessment model and per maturity level.

The EU digital skills strategy and related policy initiatives have the objective of enhancing digital skills and competences for the digital transformation. The European Skills Agenda, of 1 July 2020, supports digital skills for all, including by supporting the objectives of the Digital Education Action Plan, which has the objectives of i) en-hancing digital skills and competences for the digital transformation while ii) fostering the development of a high-performing digital education system. The Digital Compass and the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan set the ambitious policy targets of reaching a minimum of 80% of the population with basic digital skills and having 20 million ICT specialists by 2030.
