Dzień po wielkiej premierze modelu GPT-5, dyrektor generalny OpenAI, Sam Altman, w serii wpisów na platformie X (dawniej Twitter) odniósł się do pierwszych problemów z wdrożeniem.
Przyznał, że proces okazał się „nieco bardziej wyboisty, niż mieli nadzieję”, a firma już wprowadza szereg zmian w odpowiedzi na opinie użytkowników i napotkane trudności techniczne.
„GPT-5 wydawał się znacznie głupszy”
Najciekawszym wątkiem w komunikacji Altmana jest szczere przyznanie się do poważnej usterki, która miała miejsce w dniu premiery. „Wczoraj automatyczny przełącznik (autoswitcher) zepsuł się i był wyłączony przez sporą część dnia, w rezultacie czego GPT-5 wydawał się znacznie głupszy” – napisał Altman.

Chodzi o kluczowy element nowej architektury modelu, czyli router, który ma dynamicznie dobierać odpowiednią moc obliczeniową do zadania. Jego awaria sprawiała, że użytkownicy nie otrzymywali odpowiedzi z najpotężniejszego modułu rozumowania. Altman zapewnił, że firma wprowadza już poprawki, które mają usprawnić działanie tego mechanizmu.
Zmiany i udogodnienia dla użytkowników
W odpowiedzi na pierwsze opinie, OpenAI ogłosiło kilka natychmiastowych zmian, które mają poprawić komfort pracy z nowym modelem, szczególnie dla płacących użytkowników:

Über die #Client-#API liefert #Mastodon im [fields]-Array neben [name] und [value] ein [verified_at], was null sein kann... oder einen TimeStamp enthält, z.B. "2019-11-10T10:31:10.744+00:00".
Frage ich aber einen Account direkt über seine URL ab und frage nach JSON, erhalte ich eine Struktur, wo dieses [verified_at] offenbar nicht enthalten ist.
Für die Felder (Name/Wert-Paare) ist ein [attachment]-Array enthalten. Diese liefert Felder wie [type] ("PropertyValue") sowie [name] und [value].
Und damit sind wir wieder bei meiner einleitenden Frage...
